We took the boat to the beach and the journey was great to experience nice and relaxing along the river. When we arrived we decided to walk to the end of the beach to visit the turtle sanctuary it was very interesting and worth visiting and making a donation. we walked back along the sandy beach and it was a very pleasant day out we returned via boat and arrived in the evening sun which was very nice. The beach has plently of facilities , showers changing huts etc and a cafe type place plently of sun loungers and nice warm sea! Overall it was a great day out!

In the Bodrum areas, some bays are not as wide open as Ortakent yahsi beach. That is why, often times, they are not as clean as this beach. The yahsi beach is also perfect for water sports such as surfing, sailing or parasailing. Other water activities like banana, jet skis are available too. There are great ice cream shops, cafes, restaurants and shops in this bay. Our favorites are Lugga hotel, Zest hotel, Kefi beach club, bar/restaurant, Vira’s beach/restaurant, seafood restaurants near the yahsi marina and Bitez dondurma.

We took a water taxi from Marmaris to spend the day in Turunc. The trip itself is well worth the cost and we arrived at the harbour around midday. We had a walk around the town the walked on to the market which was fairly small (being pre season?) and mostly fruit and veg. We had previously researched walks in the area by searching the internet for Turunc walks so we decided to follow the waterfall trail up the mountain which starts from the market area. The walk was mostly easy but there isn't a proper path so it isn't for everyone. You can walk to the start of the trail and get access to some of the gentle rapids. Turunc itself, away from the front is a very quiet place with chickens running around the roads. Some lovely restaurants on the front and up the side streets. Well worth a visit or even for a quiet break.

Beautiful, spacious, variety of restaurants, free sun beds. Had a couple of lovely days here with a very welcome sea breeze.
