I truly loved it. Brand new winery, clean, really nice patio area, live soft music.. what else you need for a great relaxing evening?? Yes! Wine! Their wines are amazing.. Rhone blends are hard to come by in this part of Valley and the Melange was one of the most interesting wines I've ever had. Intricate bouquet, beautiful aroma and color.. cant wait till their Viogner comes out at Fall. Will be back again!

First time I have ever been to a brewery, and I must say it was a cool experience to do this on the west coast. Shadow Puppet had great variety in beer and the selection was well described in the menu and priced well. Plus, they had a bunch of games to play, it was almost like a mini-dave and busters with board games and card games.

In 1883, James Concannon established Concannon Vineyard, making it America's Oldest, Ongoing Winery Under the Same Family Label and Stewardship. In this inspiring atmosphere, the tradition of casual elegance and warm hospitality that first began in this historic winery lives on today. We invite you and your special guests to savor our award-winning wines and enjoy a unique Concannon Wine Country Experience. Learn why Concannon is "A Founding Family of California Cabernet Sauvignon" and released "America's First Petite Sirah."
We did the Livermore wine and food pairing trolley and stopped here. Great choice of wines we tasted. Loved their petite Sirah. Staff were great and knowledgeable about the history of the specific wines.

Next to Napa and Sonoma, this is the "quieter" wine region of California.
Livermore have a lovely downtown area, perfect for a lazy afternoon with local shops, restaurants. Outside of town is one of the best outlet malls in the entire bay area, and south of town are some great wine country event centers and wine tasting places. Its a great place to visit and even nicer to place to live.

The wines are excellent. Highly drinkable now and great for the cellar. The top end selections like the Premier Cab and the Lineage Bordeaux blend have gotten 100 point scores and are among the best in the world. There are many good and great wineries in Livermore and Steven Kent Winery and The Lineage Group are at the pinnacle of the latter. My favorite wines (after the two mentioned above) are the Single Vineyard Series cabs. Each one is unique and vary from year to year but the nuanced style of Steven Mirassou provides a point of view for each. The winery has had a bit of a hospitality makeover that was interrupted by COVID but I did get a visit to the new Lineage Salon beforehand and it offers a beautiful high-end tasting experience rivaling a great premium Napa tasting. Our visit on the patio (due to COVID) was hospitable and relaxed with four nice wines and a couple of bonus pours as well. I'd recommend a reservation by calling in advance especially in these times when openings and closings are happening frequently.

We very much enjoyed our wine tasting at Rodrigue Molyneau Estate Winery and Vineyard. We lucked out and we were the only two there at the time. We loved their red wines, in particular, their cab franc We purchased three bottes of red wine. They have very nice picnic areas - so will need to come back to enjoy. We were there on a rainy day, so did not work out this time. They have won a number of wine awards, some at the winery contests at the fair. Overall, we were impressed by both the wines, service, and winery and picnic area. We will be back.

Bent Creek Winery produces award winning wines from Livermore Valley grapes. Come and taste our current selection. Or bring a picnic and enjoy a bottle seated in our vineyards.
We went with no expectations and we were thrilled. My husband was impressed by the fact that every time we sampled a wine the lady would point to the outside and where they were grown! We bought a bottle of port at the end of the tasting and brought it home to Maryland. We hope to go back someday.
