Transylvania is a historical region in today's central Romania. Bound on the east and south by its natural borders, the Carpathian mountain range, historical Transylvania extended westward to the Apuseni Mountains. The term sometimes encompasses not only Transylvania proper, but also the historical regions of Crișana and Maramureș, and occasionally the Romanian part of Banat.

Vlad was amazing from start to finish! My online enquiry was responded too promptly, all my questions answered and booked very efficiently. Vlad even organised snow clothing hire for us and bought this to our hotel the night before the lesson (which included serveral options for both my partner and myself to try on!) my lesson i could not fault, Vlad is extremly knowledgable and friendly, he speaks perfect english and is highly professional. My partner is an experienced snowboarding so he wasnt doing a lesson with me and Vlad still thought about him and oragnised him goggles for when we arrived as it was a foggy day up the top of the mountain. I cannot recommend Vlad enough!
We believe that when you visit a place you can get to know it better by involving in different activities. Through our workshops you can get in touch with local people and have a lot of fun while learning traditional crafts like: pottery and ceramics, glass painting, wood carving, transylvanian embroidery and ancient mask making techniques. You will never get enough of what you're doing, because while you are working, you can hear a guitar playing, or you can be invited to dance on the traditional folk music.
