While we were sad to have to cancel our July trip to Japan due to the pandemic, we found the process of working with Japan Awaits to be easy and efficient. I can't speak to the full experience since we weren't able to go, but filling out the form and our communication with the company was no problem. And their prompt and courteous response to our request for a refund speaks to their professionalism. We will definitely come back to ask for their help in procuring tickets to the Studio Ghibli Museum when we do finally make it to Japan! Fingers crossed for next summer.

We had an amazing time on our tour with Moka! It was nice to see so many sites in one day without any of the hassle. Moka was super friendly and eager to give us an amazing day! She was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of historical facts during our tour of Nagoya castle. Moka speaks great English and helped explain many customs of Japan. As a bonus, it was nice to get familiar with the public transportation system with someone to help :) We highly recommend doing Moka's tours!
"Take a train and bus from Nagoya to Asuke. Deep in the mountains, Asuke is famous for its autumn leaves, Korankei. It is a popular spot in November during Korankei, but a spot enjoyable all year round. Walk around the old town along the beautiful river, you will see many old-fashioned buildings. There are no tourists to be seen around, why don't you keep this city a secret to yourself? The highlight is Asuke Yashiki, explore and experience craftsmanship here. In a time with no electricity, people's lives were full with wisdom. Discover the craftsmanship from this era. Choose your favorite craft to explore, bamboo basket making, painting or weaving. Let's make an unique sovenir for yourself!"
