The Dique de Levante, with an extension of 1600 metres, has become a privileged esplanade facing the sea. Its structure combines wood and steel, and at the bottom side it includes a cycleway. The Dique de Levante is one of the most visited places by both tourists and inhabitan.
Very well kept boardwalk. You can enjoy a sunrise/sun down walk with family/partner. Also you can watch local fshermen catching fish while enjoying the sea breeze.

This church is beautiful inside and the decorations at Christmas and Easter are out of this world. The Nativity village in the square outside at Christmas is spectacular with all the little chestnut stalls etc around

One of the most beautiful new churches that I have ever seen. The theme is the relationship between the city and the sea. Fabulous both inside and out.

This church is a new build. The previous was demolished to build an underground car park. Themed on the fishing industry upon which the city was founded. Doors, windows, roof art work all nautical in flavour. Several masses each week for the believerbelieverss, well attended. Tables set out for games, children's play area around the church.

We loved taking a moment to sit along side this statue as she looks out longingly towards the scenic sea scape and its undisturbed panoramic views. A great little spot for a holiday snap and great location for viewing with close proximity to the beaches and restaurants.

With underground parking this promenade is worth a visit, book ended by a fountain at the top end and cast statues to local musicians at the bottom end There are small huts along the sea view side open at night selling books, clothing souvenirs etc.
