We have explored all sorts of areas in Tokyo: from stylish and cosy neighbourhoods like Nakano, Koenji and Shimokitazawa, to the bright and busy areas such as Shibuya, Shinjuku and Roppongi. Depending on the night and the place we’ve decided on, we will meet either at the closest station or directly at the first location (Some stations are too hectic and we may have trouble finding each other in the crowds). To kick off the night, we’ll all have a toast to an awesome night together at the first location. We will visit three to four bars/club in total. Ashikaga is known for the historical town in Tochigi prefecture. Meet your guide at Tobu Asakusa Station and take a limited express train to Tobu Ashikagashi-Station. In this tour, the local guide will show you around the historical town, visit the historical Ashikaga School, Ashikaga Orihime Shrine, Bannaji Temple, and Coco-farm winery. You can also enjoy the local food such as soba noodle and Ashikaga cutlet for lunch and enjoy wine tasting at the local winery in the afternoon. Visit Kiryu and Ashikaga from Asakusa Station. In this tour, the local guide will show you around Kiryu city, stop by the fabric factory where you can try textiling or dying and feel the culture in the area. After the walking tour, visit “Hotokuji Temple”. If you would like, you can try zen meditation. One night accommodation near Kiryu Station is included. Lunch is your choice from Japanese cuisine and French cuisine at a popular local restaurant. Please select it when booking. On the second day, you will visit Ashikaga from Kiryu. Meet your guide at Ashikaga Station and visit Ashikaga Gakko,Bannaji Temple, and Ashikaga Orihime Shrine. After walking the Ashikaga town and enjoyed local food, enjoy wine tasting at Coco farm winery and back to Tokyo feeling a little tipsy. The knowledgable local guide will assist your journey and help you learn and feel the Japanese culture. This activity focuses on how to differentiate each sake type and how to appreciate them, including pairing and keeping utilizing very well selected Hokuriku(Kanazawa, Takayama, Niigata) area sakes. About 3 hours at any time available, evening recommended. Kana is a foodie obgyn nurse born in Toyama, a land of top-notch sushi and wagyu in Kanazawa district. Her brother works at Toyama’s JA, Japan Agricultural Cooperatives where takes charge of everything in agricultural production and distribution in each prefecture. This allows her to get some very good and hard-to-get Sake, Wagyu and Seafood on demand. Tsubasa is a Tokyo born English speaking entrepreneur who has been running sushi and tourism business in the Tsukiji and Toyosu fish market for more than 5 years. He does have insider access to the finest fresh seafood, vegetable and fruits supply in Tokyo for which otherwise only professional chefs and dealers.
