We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with the delightful Yurico, who taught us to make delicious okonomiyaki from scratch. Her class is suitable for both beginners and also those with experience cooking. She explained each step very clearly and made the whole experience very worthwhile, and with her guidance our finished products came out perfectly. It was also nice to see the more residential area of Tokyo where she lives, after having already explored the city's main sites. We would definitely recommend this cooking class to anyone.

We spent a delightful morning with Mayuko learning to make bento boxes with panda rice balls. Mayuko is extremely friendly and positive, and a great teacher - we learned some cool techniques which we've since incorporated into our own cooking since returning to our home country, and my wife went out shopping straight after the class to get equipment to make bento boxes of our own. We did a few different activities and classes while we were in Japan for a month and this was easily the most fun we had. I heartily recommend this class to anyone who wants to have a fun morning with a great host and learn some cool things about Japanese cuisine.

Yuki's home cooking class was the best part of our trip to Japan! She truly went above and beyond in walking us to and from the train station to her home and teaching us all about traditional Japanese culture and cooking. We were able to choose which dish we wanted to prepare prior to our arrival (we chose Gyoza) and she ensured that we were comfortable and well-fed in her home while giving us a wealth of knowledge in Japanese cooking. We made gyoza, Japanese omelets, miso soup, cucumber salad, and rice. For dessert we had the peaches, grapes, and cookies. She also gave us the recipes to take home with us and gave wonderful recommendations for the rest of our time in Japan. Yuki's cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Japan and we are recommending her home cooking experience to all of our family and friends who visit!

I had stayed in overseas for 11 years and I have noticed how good Japanese foods and drink cultures are! I have been to so many nice restaurants, Ramen shop and bars for so many years and after I came back to Tokyo, I have focused to research Izakaya (Japanese style pub), restaurants, Ramen shop and bars, which are I really love to do. I am a big fan of learning as much about a culture when I travel as I can and I love spending time with the locals to do that. When I saw a cooking experience in Japan, I knew we needed to jump on that despite a reluctant (non-cooking) husband. We picked 2 of our favorite items we like to eat (although nearly everything in Japanese cuisine is delicious in our books) and booked our time with Yuca. We were not disappointed in the slightest and had a most wonderful time learning to make Ramen and Gyoza from scratch. My husband even said he enjoyed it far more than he ever imagined! WIN! We were invited into her home to cook with her and I not only came away with new recipes for our home menu rotation, but the need for a miso muddler and a ginger ginger (we were staying in Asakusa at the time and this was a quick and easy errand to run the same day!). I also bought her first cookbook and will subscribe to her YouTube channel so I can learn even more. We highly recommend this experience for anyone else who wants to dive deeper into a culture and have a wonderful experience! Thank you Yuca!
