Family owned and operated farm winery specializing in wines made from the Cold Climate grapes. Currently the Tasting Room is closed, but re-opens on 30 Mar (2018) and is open 11 - 5 until December 31st (Closed Christmas Day
My wife and saw the winery sign while motorcycling on Rt. 12E and decided to stop in. We were happily greeted by the owner and enjoyed sitting in the yard, learning the history of this vintage 1830’s homestead while being served some wonderful tasting wines. Visiting the inside tasting area provided an introduction to some interesting soaps and oils. This hard working family has definitely set the bar high for wineries in the region.

I have a camp in Clayton and have been visiting this distillery for the past 2 years. The quality of the product and their staff are EXCEPTIONAL. Great family story behind the making of this distillery. They are very community oriented and source locally. They have a small but excellent variety of liquors to choose from. All are made onsite and using local ingredients.. They are a farm to table operation with their restaurant also. Vodka is smooth, refreshing, a bit herbal... It can stand up to any of the high end vodkas and in my humble opinion, surpass them. The gin offerings are also of the highest quality.. They use herbs that they grow on their own farm to flavor... It is the best kind of original and intriguing taste I have ever had in a gin.. Great in G&T AND...it makes a fabulous Bloody Mary with a twist.. They also offer Whisky, Rye, a buttery Cream Liquor and Absinthe.. All of a delight.. What is an added bonus to the already finest quality product is the star quality staff.. Helpful, interested, friendly, offering some of the best customer service I have experienced in this area. Kudos to the manager Heidi!!! Spent an hour with her one afternoon during a freak ice storm... No better place to be stuck than in the tasting room with her at the helm!!! If you are in the area or looking for a great addition to your personal bar... St Lawrence Spirits will not disappoint!

A Craft Distillery with a beautiful co-located Tasting Room that features In-house distilled spirits as well as craft wines and beers from local brewers and wineries. Local artists are also on display, as well as local farm to market products such as NY State cheeses, jams, honey, maple syrup, etc..
My husband and I drove past this and thought, hmm, maybe we should stop? We are glad we did! Because of Covid, things were a little different but the staff was so friendly and accommodating. You can do liquor tastings or flights if you take them outside on the deck, and the bourbon was wonderful (says my husband) - he even bought a bottle to take home. They also have a huge assortment of slushies that you can add your choice of liquor too, so good and refreshing on a hot day. Very affordable as well, nice deck to sit on and watch people in the town. You can bring your own food if you'd like. I would definitely stop here if you're in Alex Bay or nearby.

One of the most breathtakingly beautiful places on earth, the Thousand Islands Region is an international tourism destination located along the eastern shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. It is home to many quaint villages and sits just along the border between the United States and Canada. This region was named after the 1,793 islands that are nestled within this scenic international waterway. With recent advances in cold hardy grape production, the Thousand Islands is quickly becoming one of New York State’s fastest growing wine regions. The Thousand Islands Winery was the first winery in the region and boasts not only multiple acres of vineyards, but also breathtaking scenery, a fun and unique tasting room atmosphere, and of course award winning wines!
Wonderful area to visit and a great selection of wines to purchase and taste. Many tasty wines but best of all was our hostess Bobbi . She made the whole wine tasting experience a fun filled event. She knew her wines and made excellent recommendations to each of my friends and myself. Her personality and excellent customer service skills make her the perfect hostess for wine tasting. We will definitely go back someday.

Venditti Vineyards opened in the spring of 2012. We now have 12 wines to offer our customers. Our focus is on producing a quality wine that's enjoyable to drink. Whether you like sweet, dry, red or white, you'll find your new favorite at Venditti! Visit our tasting room and sample our fine wines in a peaceful and beautiful setting. The winery is family-friendly and you are welcome to bring your own picnic. There's plenty to enjoy- a stroll through the vineyard, a tour of the wine making area, or relaxing with friends over a glass of wine in the tasting room or on the patio. The beautiful natural setting is ideal for a reunion, a potluck dinner, or an office celebration. Group wine tastings are also available- both on site at the winery or at your location. The possibilities are endless!

During a recent wine tasting at the vineyard, Heather did a great job explaining the wines, pacing the tastings, and recommending the options. I am a Wine Club member, which gives me an incentive to return often!!! A "must stop and taste" whenever you are in the Thousand Islands Region of New York!

Great place to stop for a tasting of various spirits! Great space inside with nice tasting bar, display cases, wine slushie machine, and various items for purchase. We stopped here for a late afternoon tasting and picked up a couple of slushies to drink sitting on our hotel balcony in Clayton overlooking the river. I definitely recommend it!
