Having worked with a number of LeTourneau graduates over the years, I was pleased to make my first campus visit this spring, and I came away very impressed. The aviation program has shown results that tell its own success story, but I can also call out the thoughtful staff, beautiful campus, and excellent campus dining cafeteria as bonuses to this.

Have a friend who teaches here so I went on a tour. It is a beautiful campus. A private school with outstanding academics. The campus is well laid out and it is easy to get around. It was a nice tour of the various buildings. Though it is close to the downtown area it is actually pretty low key here.

We recently participated in a college campus tour for our high-schooler. On-line sign up is easy with same day waitlist options for those who decide at the last minute. The is also an App that can be downloaded for those who prefer a more leisurely pace. The college tour lasts about 1.5 hours and are led by current students. Prospective students and there guests are driven around campus in motorized trams with pre- planned stops at certain buildings to showcase the architecture, history, or technology within. The tour does include a drive-by of the bear habitat but does not stop for pictures. The tour also stops at the football stadium with an opportunity to walk on the field for a 10-minute photo opportunity. My child was very impressed with the campus and student involvement.

Today marks a very special day! It seems like just yesterday our youngest daughter was visiting this beautiful campus for the very first time. This morning at 10:00am after earning all A's her Senior Year, she graduates from DBU. It's been a beautiful journey watching Rebecca grow as a young woman and grow strong in her faith in the Lord. I will cherish memories of her competing at the National championships with the Patriettes, attending homecoming in the Berg, attending many Pats baseball games, father-daughter events, and Spring Sing. The candle light ceremony last night was also special. This will be a proud day in our family as my wife and I have now put all three children thru college with the oldest earning there Masters degree and Rebecca being accepted into the Disney College program.
