Experience central Texas as it was meant to be, on the back of a horse! Take a scenic horseback ride across rolling hills and along Brushy Creek. We are conveniently located just outside of Austin, Texas, in Coupland. New to horseback riding? No problem. Great for people of all experience levels, not your typical nose to tail trail ride. Trail rides start with teaching basic steering and stoping. All rides are by appointment only.

I generally don't write reviews however I am making an exception with regards to the trail ride we were on Oct 10/19. It began with a very pleasant call to book the ride, from there it just got better. From the staff who greeted us to matching the riders' experience with calm responsive horses, to the trail guide. Genuinely friendly, yet professional, we will definitely be back and would highly recommend them for everyone. I posted this same review on Yelp and Google.

Went on the 1 hour beginner trail ride. Really enjoyed the trip - but 1 hour in the saddle was enough for me. The Old West Stable is actually located inside the State Park, so you ride on the Canyon floor. There were both adults and children on the trail ride, and all seemed to enjoy themselves. Cost was $282 for 4 adults. The guides - Megan and Blain were both helpful and friendly, and the horses were all calm trail horses. Great fun for the entire family - but 1 hour is probably long enough - unless you are a hard core rocky trail riding kind of person. Highly recommend.

I took my boyfriend down to Waco from Dallas to get away for an afternoon, I found Brazos Bluffs Ranch on Groupon. Ricky was our guide, super sweet man and knew all the ins and out of horseback riding. We have both been riding before, Justin competed in riding up north so this was us getting back to a favorite hobby and it was SO GREAT. We really appreciate all the staff here, they are so warm and welcoming.
