Great place to enjoy a Saturday in close vicinity of Dallas. Lot of variety of beer available for tasting, each of them tastes amazing, staff is super friendly. Each beer had a unique taste. We liked blood and honey the most. We were surprised that they only charge $10 a person, considering what's on offer - brewery tour, a sovenier glass, 4 beers of choice , music performances, super economical food vendor, and a well maintained place to enjoy picnic. And if you're lucky like we were today, you'll also get to enjoy a special performance - they had a Troupe from Arlington specially come in for performance today to celebrate Chinese New Year. They played pretty energetic music, and performed traditional dance with Tiger costumes. The brewmaster himself was available to answer queries and explain the process. We had a long interaction with him. They've installed a lot of picnic tables in open as well as in the shade and have a decent open ground in the middle of the brewery. Kids can enjoy playing in the large open ground as well..

Specializing in artisanal Belgian style ales, Save the World Brewing Co is a 100% philanthropic production craft brewery. Our beers are available for purchase to enjoy during your visit or to take home in growlers or by the bottle, six-pack, or case!
We stopped in for a quick visit on the spur of the moment but ended up staying for over an hour because the atmosphere was so great. There are lawn games that our kids enjoyed and great Belgian style ales—husband enjoyed the Belgian quad. The kids enjoyed the craft sodas. They were starting a Harry Potter trivia game just as we were leaving. Don’t miss this fun spot if you are in the area! Check the hours on the website.

Today’s Spoetzl Brewery is a far cry from the old tin shed where Shiner first flowed back in 1909. We think our founder, Kosmos Spoetzl, would probably be amazed at our state-of-the art Brew House. He’d also be happy to know we still brew every drop of Shiner right here in Shiner, Texas. Stop in for a tour and the first round is on us. And the second.
We stopped in for a day trip while visiting our son in Victoria intending to spend a couple hours in Shiner. We spent three! Norman gave us a great brewery tour and with out visit we had a number of complimentary tastes of Shiner beers. Almost all of these were excellent. Being a vet, my group got in free. A huge bonus! We had more beer than we could take and spent our savings on Shiner gear. This was a great stop and a fine local/independent brewery. Drink more Shiner!

Visiting friends in Huffman and we decided to trek an hour south to the brewery for lunch. Shrimp n grits was over the top delicious, Texas size portion! One of our group ordered a pizza, again delicious. My wife and I had the crawfish roll, amazing flavor, fresh brioche roll, highly recommended. Now for the beer, I had a coffee stout and a couple of the orange beers, wife had a cider, had to sample the root beer all delicious, wish an Uber ride was an affordable option to and from I would have enjoyed trying more of the beer. Great atmosphere good service, excellent food an beer. Meals & Beer about $150 with tip. A very memorable experience.

A nice fun brewery with a great selection of styles. They also have a distillery with whiskey and gin. Our favorite was the dark beers but the barrel aged sour was really tasty as well. A very nice outdoor area for better weather. Cheers !!!

We just happened to drive by going to a different activity and thought we’d try for dinner. The waitress was friendly, outgoing, great service! We ate outside which we discovered there is a dog section - gated area for you to bring your dog! Everyone was welcoming. The food was great. My husband did the beer flight, he loved it. We will definitely be going back! Everything was clean, gave you real silverware, extra napkins, even a menu if you wanted. Great job during Covid!

I was surprised by this place. It was in Garland and not too busy, yet it has some of the best beers I have had. I highly recommend trying their different stouts. The location is pretty unassuming and not as flashy as some of the other local spots, but there beer is far superior to most. If you have the time when in DFW, try going out of your way to enjoy a few hours here. You will relish it!

I really love the Southern Star beers, and their tasting room is a great place to go for fun and a good beer. They also have food trucks that come in. There are plenty of large tables where we play games in inclement weather, and there's a nice picnic area outside where you can sit in nice weather. They don't sell beer, they sell tokens. You buy tokens at the token bar and trade a token for a beer at the beer bar. If you buy three tokens, you get your very own Southern Star glass. They also have t-shirts and other souvenirs. There also give fun and educational tours of the brewery on Saturday, usually at 2 and 4 (but you may have to ask at the bar to get the ball rolling...so don't be bashful). And I got a nice stout for free as part of the tour... It's a great date or just a way to while away the hours.
