One of the best parts of my trip to CDMX! I happened to be the only one signed up that afternoon, so I got a private (!!) tour of the city with Ismael. We went all through Chapultepec park, then biked down Reforma into the Centro Histórico where we stopped for tacos in a charming taquería. Along the way we stopped to learn about historic sites, significant points in Mexican history and anecdotes about different leaders whose impact can be seen on the city today. Ismael is a fantastic guide- funny, passionate about sharing history, a true lover of bike culture and very attentive to make sure I always felt safe biking around. Y encima me dejó practicar mi español y no me burló por lo fatal que sonaba jaja ???? The whole afternoon was a fantastic experience, highly recommended! Gracias Ismael

Dora was an excellent and accommodating guide. She was aware of the aspects that we would find most interesting and was obviously very familiar with the area and navigating the site and the staff who were at the site. We enjoyed Dora's guiding so much, we asked her to take us somewhere else the next day!

Very close to Tequisquiapan, in the community of La Trinidad and in the midst of a beautiful landscape of the hill, is located the “El Redentor” opals mine, in whose bowels it treasures wonderful multi-colored semi-precious stones called opals, which miners day by day they search for and extract from among large rocks, to later shape, polish and turn them into beautiful handmade jewelry. The road to the mine is winding and you get on 4x4 vehicles, you can collect your own stones and hit them to find the precious opal in them, the great rule is the opal you find. Do not forget to bring comfortable clothes and shoes, a cap or hat and a camera.

Inclusions: Parking Fees, Bottled water

If you book directly in their page, you need to make sure an email confirmation is sent to you. Big watch out as the page accepts payments and no email is sent. I had to argue for an hour with the payment done. In a second visit, because they are the only tour, I had another bad experience, i paid a 900 pesos tour, visiting 5 locations in 5 hours, during the tour they informed that the tour was only 3 locations, and since I booked via Hotel Rio they cannot do anything about it, off course they never paid back the difference. I do not reccomend this, tricky site, tricky staff.
