The path up to the Te-hytta starts approx. 6 km from the center of Rauland in the direction Haukeligrend on Rv 362. You will find a small parking lot on the right hand side of the road, and a sign to Raulandsfjell where the trail begins. The trail is marked and clearly visible in the landscape, and winds relatively steep up the mountain side. This is a rather hard hike, not suitable for people of poor health! . After approx. 45 minute hard walk you arrive at the Te-hytta and its viewpoint. The cabin is private, so please show consideration. The view point has a spectacular view of Rauland and its lake, Totak. You can keep on going from here to Raulandsfjell, but the path ahead is not marked trail, so bring a map and a compass. West of Te-hut there is another path down which returns on the road 200 meters west of the parking lot and where you started

THE CULTURAL HERITAGE TRAIL starts in the centre of Fyresdal by the museum in oyskogen. You can choose whether to do the entire trail (Folkestadbyen + the circuit via Saukro and Bryggjeparken) or just one of the loops. The whole trip takes just under one hour at a leisurely pace. No special footwear or level of fitness is required – the tour is suitable for both families with children and elderly people. Most of the trail is suitable for wheelchair users.

We did a 12 days EBC Trek in October with Skyhook and their fantastic team from Freedom Adventures (Phura Gelzen Sherpa, Phura 2, Anil Raii, Santosh Sewa and all porters). The trek was simply unforgettable. We were very well looked after from the moment we have landed in Kathmandu. The accommodation in the city and in the mountains were great, places we have eaten offered variety of tasty meals, we had access to hot showers and wi-fi wherever that was possible. Trekking was never boring as Phura and his Team entertained group with songs and dances ???? and they were supporting us during those difficult times making sure we are drinking water and taking breaks. We truly had an amazing time from start to finish and will highly recommend Skyhook and Freedom Adventures to anyone who is looking to do EBC or similar trip. Huge THANK YOU to all for looking after us and for those beautiful memories you give us!

We took the Ibsen from Ulefoss to Skien, and we immensely enjoyed ourselves. Our boat had a group of Norwegian pensioners enjoying themselves, which made me realize that this is what the locals do. The boat is beautiful as is the scenery. There are drinks and pastries for purchase on board, and the staff is friendly and informative. A visit to the Telemark region is a must for someone seeing Norway.
