We went as a work group and did the Clay Bird shooting, axe throwing and had the BBQ lunch. We also had a meeting in their conservatory. The guys were great, friendly and knowledgeable. We all really enjoyed it.

Loved the escape room at The Locked Room. Challenging and fun puzzles, and our game master Michelle was very friendly and helpful. This is our 5th escape room on our trip in NZ and this is far and away the best. A shame there is only one room because we wanted to play more :( Would 100% recommend this place!

Fantastic value and just perfect for families. We had tried Debretts but we won't go back after discovering AC Baths :-) Value for money, size, facilities all just great! It will depend what you're looking for of course, but if you want a nice warm pool with loads of space for everyone, great shade areas, spaces for entertaining, great cafe and slides plus incredibly good set up in changing areas for families at a really reasonable price then this is the place for you :-) The family changing rooms were large and warm, and included toilets, shower, good sized dry shelf, large rubbish bin and change table and there were plenty of them too. When so many times the dash to get changed is full of stress and bother, grumpy kids who are wet and cold and need the toilet right when you've stripped the last of your togs off this facility was bliss! Staff very friendly too. Thanks AC Baths for a superb visit! We will be back for sure!

we loved this place it all started with being welcomed by the lovely Maggie the dog. The mini golf is so well maintained and quite challenging fun......that being said my 4 year old got a hole in 1!! Highly recommend as a family/all activity when you visit Taupo!!

Southern Lake Taupo Adventure Mini Golf is a fun way to spend a couple of hours. This is quite a challenging 18 hole course based on the terrain of the Central Plateau! Volcanoes, canyons, rivers - all have to be overcome before you reach the last hole.

Possibly one of the best mini golf courses we’ve been to within NZ (big statement we know). Our joyful cheers echoed around Turangi this morning, as we swiftly moved from hole to hole, each containing new obscure obstacles for us to battle our way through. We cannot recommend it enough, bring your children, friends, housemates, lovers or anyone in between! Guaranteed fun to be had for ALL! Don’t drive past, pull the car in, get into the competitive zone and enjoy the 8th lesser known wonder of the world.

Start by joining our behind the scenes guided tour through the nursery and hatchery, hear about our 30-year history, meet our prawns up close and personal and while you’re there you have to feel the strange sensation of hand feeding the baby prawns. Race up and down our massive new boating lake on stand-up paddleboards, water trikes, and pedal boats. Watch the excitement on your child’s face as you head down our adventure trail trying out all the interactive activities. Feed the trout, battle the family on our water cannons, only the brave tackle the water gauntlets, ending at the kids playground and geothermal footbaths.

A sign greeted us as we entered telling us the prawns weren't biting so the entry fees were discounted. We started off fishing for prawns anyway.... the kids thoroughly enjoying the experience. We went on the tour with Michaela which is worthwhile doing. Loved hand feeding the baby prawns.... such a weird sensation. Next lunch in the restaurant.... while the menu is very $$ and not a great variety, the staff were awesome. Rachael was our waitress and seemed to be in charge on the floor of the restaurant. She did a great job to keep customers happy and ensure turn over was relatively swift (without rushing people). Back outside we enjoyed the paddle boats and the Prawn walk with all its varied activities. Our kids would have spent all day there if we'd let them. One daughter wanted to do the tour again so she could feed the baby prawns again. Both went back to fishing for prawns for another 45 mins. No prawns caught, but they had a fabulous time.
