Amazing day out - the trip down the coast to Tasman Island was spectacular! Loads of wildlife and incredible scenery - was a bit brisk, but still very comfortable even with a slight bit of swell in the Southern Ocean. The boat trip took about three hours - the remainder of the day is taken up heading to Port Arthur, which is a well preserved convict treasure - 3 hours here was not enough time to see it all, but still more than enough as this is a big day (with all of the driving down the Tasman Peninsula). Brilliant service and a must do when in Tasmania.

Rick was our very competent driver and guide for the whole 10 hour day trip from Hobart to Bruny Island. Rick is a local actually living on Bruny so he has all the insider knowledge which was a great asset! The tour was a great combination of local food specialties, great scenery, natural attractions and exercise for the participants - some walking and some climbing (about 360 steps at the Neck Lookout and another 72 steps inside the Lighthouse not to forget to mention the climb up to the lighthouse). Thankyou Rick for an excellent day!

I recently completed this tour and I could not rate it highly enough. I was unable to hire a car and I signed on for this tour as it ticked many of the boxes in relation to the places I wanted to see. Our tour guides, Tim and Ian were excellent, and I found out so much about the places we visited that I could never have found out travelling my myself- history, geology, zoology - our guides were an amazing source of information. The highlights were the National Parks - Gordon- Franklin, Lake St Clair, Cradle Mountain, Freycinet etc. Tasmania has a unique landscape, and we were given an opportunity to explore it. We had a lovely group of 18 people of mixed ages and nationalities, and that was another highlight for me. I enjoyed the backpacker experience, but if you are looking for five star accommodation this tour is not for you. We bought our own food, but were given the opportunity to buy fresh local oysters, amazing ice creams and Tasmanian baked goods. Even when it rained, our days were full of interest. Thank you particularly to our guides Tim and Ian who made sure that everything ran smoothly. They were always patient, informative and pleasant.
