Really cool atmosphere where a old house was converted into a brewery. Outside seating on porch and picnic tables in yard. Outside games like corn hole and foosball. Inside seating spread out with card games and free to play MS Pac man and golden tee. The beer is excellent with a variety that someone can find 1 or 2 at least. Sours, stouts, and more give excellent flavor combos such as Mexican Candy. Highly recommend stop and try. Bet the turn you into repeat customer. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff make for great experience. Prices treat you right too.

From the sea to your first sip. Tarpon Springs Distillery, located in the former Stephen Katzaras Sponge Company, embraces the unique Greek-American coastal heritage of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Our three flagship spirits, Gramling Woods Moonshine, Papou’s Ouzo, and Anclote Gin are produced from scratch right on our premises. We use 100% premium malted grains, because we’re determined to use the highest quality ingredients to produce the best tasting spirits. We recently won multiple medals at the Judging of Craft Spirits (American Distilling Institute) 2020: Gold Medal, Best in Category, Best in Class for Papou's Ouzo; Silver Medal for Gramling Woods Moonshine. The owners, Barry and Lisa Butler, and the Tarpon Springs Distillery family invite you to visit us. Currently we are open only for retail sales in our beautiful tasting room, but when we are allowed to fully open by state and local guidelines, we will resume our popular tours and tastings!
Checking out Tarpon Springs Distillery was not only fun but it was educational too. After a bit of shopping and lunch at the sponge docks we decided to check it out the distillery. They have parking if you do not fee like walking three minutes from the sponge docks. The distillery is VERY clean and well organized for tours. The tour covered the history of building, the process of distilling, and bit about tarpon springs. The main piece being the equipment each have their own nick names. 8-) After the tour you they have samples to taste and if you find something you like they are lots of items for sale. During the tastings you learn a bit how each spirit is made and named. You will taste moonshine, gin and ouzo. A couple are award winning. You will also taste them in mixers. We tasted a smooth apple pie with moonshine and slightly spicy bloody marry with the gin. I have never tasted gin and didn't think I would like it . I ended up taking home a bottle of their Seven Sin bloody Mary mix and Anclote Gin. I think it will make a great Valentine's Day gift for my hubby. The owners and workers are all really nice and super personable. They opened in December 2019 right before COVID shut things down. During their tour they share their story how they stepped up to help make hand sanitizer to help the area. If you are in the area I highly recommend taking a tour, sample some spirits, purchase local and support small business. I will be back when we have out of town guest visiting.

Fantastic small and cozy town just north of Tampa. Lots of great antique shops and restaurants downtown. In addition to this you have the Greek culture and the many Greek restaurants at the Dodecanese area.

You have to keep an open mind because this is a unique experience. It’s entertaining and special - not a typical wine tasting. The wines are good - smooth. Red wines only, though. When I’m in the area I take friends there and they enjoy the experience. It’s different and fun.
