Cooking Studio Taos

I am lucky to live in Taos so I take classes at Cooking Studio Taos from time to time. I can't recommend this enough. You cook good food and meet interesting people. Chris is a great teacher. Best of all, we all sit down after all the cooking is done to eat what we have prepared. It is such a congenial experience. Chris and Valerie are great hosts and, may I add, very generous with wine!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wines. I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon for a tasting and was fortunate enough to spend my time with Craig, the assistant winemaker, who explained the wines and so much more. Thank you for your knowledge - it was very much appreciated.

Taos Farmers's Market

Reviewed By KDB0224 - Albuquerque, United States

I try to attend farmer's markets in all of my travels, but my favorite is the Taos Farmer's Market. Great produce, bread and pastries, honey, herbs, beauty products, flowers, the list goes on and on. Excellent live music and a puppet show for the kids! I must disagree with the reviewer who thinks talking between vendors and customers is "Taos Manners" in a negative way. This is a community experience, and one of the highlights is the interaction between people of all ages who attend. If you want to avoid talking to people, perhaps you should have your food delivered by Amazon.
