Awesome view from the tower!!! The café downstairs is very good with nice coffee and hot chocolate and the best munkki in the whole Finland! (You can find many different things to drink and eat as well) Besides, Pyynikki has nice places to visit around, like pyynikin uimaranta (beach), the theater etc. Definitely must visit this place!

This lush green park has a stunning lakeside view over Näsijärvi and to the Särkänniemi Amusement Park and Näsinneula Observation Tower. From the park, you can find a fountain, memorial and playground, and the beautifully renovated Milavida Museum.

Just close by the new Tampere Hall this park offers a nice walk through the greens, heading towards an old “fine” city area, Tammela, which is atmospheric and genuine 60’ s. They have a pond with water lilies and a fountain, and this park have the different kinds of birds on display, like the funny hairy hens from Kathmandu or whatever. Hear the birch trees in the wind, you have a baby in a sulky, be there! Nice and quiet, harmonious spot not so far away from all worlds hoohaa. Where Hameenkatu ends by the Railway Station, ask the way further, there is secret path, a shortcut to Koskipuisto! As beautiful in winter but definitely a summer park!
