My husband is a Fuente cigar lover and in my novice search for the perfect Christmas gift, I found the Tampa Sweethearts site! I had some questions on my purchase, so I phoned the customer contact and Arturo Fuente, Jr. answered the phone. Talk about a personal touch! What a wonderful man! So warm, personable and accommodating. He even offered to autograph the cigar box for my husband as well. My husband will be thrilled. Hopefully, in the near future, we will be able to visit the Tampa Sweethearts store in person. Happy Holidays, Arturo and thank you doing what you do! :-)

New Covid-19 Hours. Our non-profit African Diaspora Literature and Culture Museum is dedicated to the literary accomplishments of people of the African Diaspora whose ancestors were not permitted to read or write and their Cultural History. We also sell new, used and rare books of the African Diaspora.
Lovely people running the place, they’re both knowledgeable on the subject of African American history and you’d do well to listen to them speak on the topic. The tour was short, sweet and to the point. It was a rundown on the history of many African Americans throughout history and how many people are actually far more African than they think themselves to be. They have a large collection of many African writers and they’re more than happy to give an introduction to anyone who isn’t knowledgeable about African American history.

Best Sangria ever and so enjoyable to sit outside, smoke a good cigar and sip on red Sangria. The apples are soaked in some type of spices and are amazing to nibble on. No trip to YBOR city is complete with out a stop at King Corona. Staff is awesome, fun crowd and great ambiance. We snowbird and always make time during our Florida stay for some visits! Highly recommend!

Operating since 2000, the Ybor City Saturday Market is the largest continually operating outdoor market in the Tampa Bay Area. Centered in Tampa's Historic District, the market is one of the most popular shopping destinations for locally produced items unique to the Tampa Bay Area. The Ybor City Saturday Market offers a unique opportunity for customers to meet the artist as well as see one of a kind pieces created in the artist’s booth as well as purchase locally produced gourmet foods representing the area.
The parking is kind of a pain but other than that we enjoyed everything about this market. Lots of vendors selling a variety of things, shirts, jewelry, towels, decor items, drinks, dozens of cupcake vendors. There was a D.J. playing music. The city protected chickens came as a surprise. Whatever you do, don't pass up the popcorn, I wish I had bought more to take back to the hotel. Ybor City as a whole looked like an interesting area, I love the old look street cars. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to investigate a lot.
