Our tours are a snapshot of our year round life with the Flower Sled dogs and we are grateful to share this with our guests. Guests will of course meet and learn about the sled dogs. Each dog has a different characters and requires specific care and training to excel in their work and life. The dogs are part of the family, but also a major component in the tasks of gathering firewood, hauling water and hunting caribou in spring. The Homestead is tucked away in the Talkeetna Boreal forest, just south of Talkeetna, and guest will visit the cabin and learn about our self sufficient lifestyle.
