The First Fantasy World in Asia that Combines both Amusement Park and Safari.Other than more than 30 thrilling roller coasters teenagers love to challenge and the wild animal zoo that’s suitable for the whole family.Leofoo Village also have musical water shows, large parades and other magnificent dancing shows.
Although its about 2h off from Taipeinfrom our accomodation, its definitely worth the visit. Would recommend to set half a day for leofoo as the themepark and zoo is enough to keep you entertain for the entire day! The theme park have rlly nice staffs, and the animals in the zoo were all kept clean :) you also get to feed the llamas!

Very clean place, not too big so it is not tiring to walk, but plenty of rides: Ferris wheel, drop thingy, carousel, swing, airplaney ride where you can press a button to make it go higher, spinning teacups, bump cars, roller coaster, train that goes all around the park, and many more. Playground was under maintenance when we went, too bad, it looked like a fun area too. Taxi is very easy to get, but bring a translator app if you do not speak Mandarin, because hardly English is spoken anywhere. The squat urinals were also interesting, especially because they allow you to completely avoid touching the seat, and the flushes are designed to be stepped on. Plenty of water fountains. Day pass was well worth it even if we only stayed 4 hours, but if you want to pay per ride, buy Easy Card before coming here. Plenty of machines to reload card inside, but you must have the card on hand. My kids were aged 4 to 15 and we all had fun.

Formosa Aboriginal Cultural Village has the largest outdoor museum in Taiwan dedicated to displaying the traditional homes and architecture of Taiwanese indigenous tribes. The nine villages are arrayed over an expansive section of hillside to give visitors a feel of what native Taiwanese villages looked like so many years ago. All buildings were reconstructed based on fieldwork research and blueprints drawn up by anthropologists in the 1930s and 40s.
There are two entrances to the park . One is from the cable car from sun moon lake , the other at the park entrance itself . On 2&3 January 20, the cable car was closed for maintenance . We entered the park from the main park entrance . Entrance fee was about S$40 per pax . Near the entrance were the rides like Aladdin world with the Viking , space mountain ,Maya adventure with the twisting coaster , UFO , Spanish Coast with the water rides like water rafting and splash mountain . There was also an arcade area and play area where we spent almost an hour trying to fish for tiny rubber fishes with paper nets . 7 nets for 100NT . Once the net breaks , game is over. We won two pikachu soft toys! Lunch was at the burger and chicken joint. Then we took the skyline cable car ride within the park up to the other entrance where the aborigine shows , exhibits and games were situated . You can either walk down which we did (very easy walk about 30-45 min)or take the skyline back. We played archery , blow darts and had a good time watching an aborigine lady show us how to make glass beads. A lot of the restaurants were closed however so we smacked on sausages. Loved the fact that there were so many taps on the way for people to wash their hands . All in all , a lovely 4 hour spent in the park . There was also a huge souvenir shop at the park entrance that we came in from .

BabyBoss City is Taiwan’s first simulation city made for children. The city is designed to create an environment for children to play and learn at the same time. Inside the 2300sq. ping city there are 50 professions and over 70 different occupations waiting for kids to explore. The settings allow games and role-playing scenarios to stimulate children’ learning capability. Once entered into BabyBoss, the children set their minds on only two things “learn from playing” and “learn from doing”. This environment opens up their abilities from within and sparks unlimited potentialities. The concept of money and how to value it are thoroughly taught within the city. The hands-on learning process is not only fun but also very rewarding.
