Perth's tramways began operating at the turn of the 20th century, and ceased operating in 1959. I can recall going on the tram with my Grandma; it was quite a treat. The tram museum will take you back to yesteryear, when trams and trolleybuses ruled the road. There's also a restored tram in South Perth, now in a tram barn. You can take a short tram trip at Perth's Tramways Museum.
