Great "Free" open space on the downs where you can just chill out on bikes, feet, scooters etc with kids or dogs and just enjoy nature and catch some great fresh air. If you want to explore a little there's still quite a few WWII remnants on the periphery of the airfield which will help your imagination to take you back to when this place was a full on RAF station with Spitfires & Hurricanes scrambling to see off the menace of invading Luftwaffe fighters & bombers.

Ive lived locally for years and never been ....Madness!!!! great bit if history.Magna Carta tea rooms near by parking by the Thames River. Definitely worth a visit.

Just a stones throw from the National Trust cafe is a wonderful pathway up the steps of contemplation to the seat of meditation at the JFK memorial. I little piece of America planted in England. Definitely worth a visit

A nice statue, showing the history of lino, first made in Staines-on- Thames. Not much else to say about it but need 100 characters for the review. :)
