This was an amazing experience. The peacefulness of floating in the kayaks and experiencing this beautiful space. was one of the top highlights of our trip. The guides were so fun and informative. Making the Loy Krathong and seeing the planktin in the evening is something you do not want to miss. Simply beautiful. Words do not do the experience justice. We stayed at the 500 Rai property BUT there are others on this massive dam. it took us over an hour to get form the port near the dam wall to get to the resort. But the whole park is just spectacular no wonder they call it the Guilin of Thailand and everyone we met had only just been told about this - DONT tell everyone as this is a magical piece of Thailand that is unspoilt and beautiful. We where here in April and the water was so warm.

The giant Buddha statue is a MUST to visit the in Phuket. But try to go in the early morning as the sun will rise facing the Big Buddha and you can get a nice picture of the Buddha with clear blue sky behind.

Very nice experience and the tour guide was friendly and cheerful. Although the prices of the items they sell at the market are more expensive, but to have an insight into their way of life over there was well worth the experience. The food was disappointment at the seafood market and the people are too!

It has a total area of 2,296,879.5 rai with a high level of biodiversity. There are many types of plants, both rare and common, such as Rafflesia Kerrii, White Backed Palm and Maxburretia Furtadoana.
