We visited Sunsri twice during our honeymoon to Bali. Wow, what a place. First, the store itself is gorgeous. Split in to several rooms each with a different theme, and even scent. The presentation is like nothing we've seen before. Truely an experience. You can even see the jewellery being made, so interesting! Next, the jewellery itself. It's art! If you want pieces which are so individual and beautiful, this is the place. Prices are reasonable for what is involved and how stunning the items are. We bought something for everyone! Finally, the staff. On our second visit, we arrived after they had closed. The times on google aren't 100% correct, so check this before you go. However, a staff member named Windu was outside and about to leave. We explained about the closing time on Google, and he insisted on opening up the entire gallery for us and gave us a private tour. He was SO knowledgeable on every piece, the artists ideas behind them and their making process. He was charming, kind and helpful. We enjoyed talking to him as much as we did the experience. Thank you Windu, we have some beautiful gifts for our family now and we wish you the best luck for the future. 10/10 - 5 stars - Superb.

We came to do the art silver class. The owner explained us such a detail about all the silver from the what silver is, how the village become silver maker, and how to make silver. The artists who helped us were so patient and explained us how to make what kind of silver we want to make, and turn out so beautiful. I can’t even imagine it was handmade. I would love to recommend people to try new experience here, they will help you to make exactly what kind of silver you want!

We were picked up from Canggu by Rai, our reliable and knowledgeable guide and driver for our two weeks in Bali. By our request we made a short visit to the local village primary school to show our boys the difference with their own school, all the kids were very enthusiastic to meet us. Afterwards we visited Rai’s traditional Balinese family home where his daughter gave us a great introduction to Balinese living and how it’s intertwined with the spiritual world. We made a little offering from scratch and then started the cooking class. We learned how to prepare and cook excellent smelling dishes you can’t find in any restaurant and tasted fantastic. We even got the recipes in a glossy brochure, much appreciated. Another bonus was meeting the 107 year old grandfather and some woodcarving lesson for our boys. Thanks to Rai and his family who gave us a fantastic flavor of the real Bali! Highly recommended.

Lovely stop on our day trip around this part of Bali. They showed us how they make their jewellery from scratch. I also bought few bits as I found them very unique. Nice souvenir from our honeymoon travels.
