Great small town farmers market. Slow to start this year with virus and all but still worthwhile visiting. Summer tradition in Door V Co punts and brings lots of vendors; arts and crafts, furniture, cheese and lots of produce. And people! Great brats available for the whole family along with fresh kettle corn, baked goods and fruit crepes. The best Crab Rangoon and egg rolls are a hit, too. And painted rocks that are quite clever and unique. Pets always welcome!

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. There was live music (Fri & Sat) and seats available at the tasting bar. We totally loved the experience. Stayed way longer than anticipated. Wine was great. Jeff the host was friendly and knowledgeable about all the wine. We had a great time, the band was super and we chatted with them on their break a bit too. Kids are welcome, I saw many there.

My father, my brother, and I stopped in Starboard Brewing Company while on a Door County adventure on Black Friday. It was bitterly cold out, so we all needed a thick hearty brew to take the edge off. Walking in we were warmly greeted by the staff and made to feel welcome. We sat down at the table and decided to play one of the numerous board games that they have available for patrons. I ordered a scotch flavored porter (I cannot remember the name). It was obviously brewed by an expert craftsman. The flavors balanced each other perfectly, which the scotch flavor nicely balancing the maltiness of the beverage. It gave a sweet finish. Like a good porter it took off the harsh edge of the cold and left on feeling comfortable and full. Excellent brew!

This was our first DC winery stop. The location looks brand new. We did a tasting on the patio due to covid restrictions. Claudia have us our tasting and was so great! She asked us a few question and upon learning it was our honeymoon, she gifted me a “bride” bracelet with a wine charm from the shop! It was very kind of her. We enjoyed the wine tasting as well and ended up purchasing 3 bottles.
