My neighborhood park for exercise and relaxation. If you enjoy getting up close to nature, this is a quiet not so well-known park. You will need a Washington County park pass to park your car. Walk, bike or ride a horse in the spring, summer or fall and cross country ski on two trails (for the average skier or one for the experienced) in the winter and the trails are groomed. The park isn't large but the scenery is great and you see lots of nature up close. The trail connects with the Gateway trail so you can walk/ride for miles. Enjoy!

We came to Stillwater from an hour away for the day with our electric bikes. It was a very hot Saturday in July. The Brown’s Creek trail runs parallel to a creek in the woods so you don’t feel the heat. We rode one way 6 miles and back into downtown Stillwater and then the 5 mile loop south of Stillwater into Wisconsin and across the historic lift bridge into Stillwater. There are a lot of people who use the trail, pedestrians and bikers. Trail is in good condition. On the Wisconsin side the pedestrian and bikes are two separate parallel paths. If you are traveling through Minnesota and have your bikes with you don’t have a lot of time, this is the trail to do. We started riding mid morning and had lunch in Stillwater afterwards.

Fall senior rate with cart was $39 which I thought was very reasonable. Course was in excellent shape. One nice thing for fall golfers is that there are mounds rather than trees on the sides of many holes. So finding your ball if you keep it in or close to the fairway is easy. Many interesting, pretty holes. Like most courses these days, a variety of tee lengths so people of various skill levels can enjoy. Club house is small - but I choose courses on the basis of the golf, rather than the club house. I'll definitely return.
