As a Peak District walker, even before I moved to the beautiful and charasmatic market town of Leek, the Roaches was a favourite haunt of mine, both for the awesome rock formation and the eerieness of the Lud's Church. It is a great walk for escapism with views over miles of countryside. On a good day you can see as far the mountains of Wales. Many visitors come to Leek purely to walk over the Roaches and I would love to show you a fabulous route, share my knowledge of some of the history and of course entice you with a few folk tails. Unfortunately often walkers see these delightful rocks and find their own path, ending up scrambling dangerously up the ridge. They miss the environmental friendly pathway through the rocks, the stretches of scenic moorlands, the Doxy Pool and of course the mystique woodland way to the Lud's Church. Plus of course, no visit is complete without a visit to the Roaches Tea Room. Their oatcakes; a local tradition, are just delicious. I warmly invite you
Inclusions: Walking tour of the Roaches and Lud's Church approx 10 kilometres.
Exclusions: Please bring a packed lunch and plenty water. We can meet at The Roaches Team Room, where you can purchase coffee/tea and cakes.
I really enjoyed my recent walk with Diane around the outskirts of the beautiful Tittesworth reservoir - views of the reservoir in one direction and the Roaches in the other! Well recommended!

A stunning walk down into the Churnet Valley with rippling brooks, streams and hidden walkways. Peace away from the noise of the city. Walking through the nature reserve you will hear the ring of birdsong and capture some wildlife. Great for photographers as views of the Roaches are awesome.

Thank you very much for being my guide at the Roaches! It was a fantastic walk, with amazingly beautiful scenery, perfect weather and great company! I shall definitely be repeating this walk with family and friends and I’m looking forward to our next walk together!

We stopped at the enchanted village in 1 of the lodges. It was great we had a disabled room although we didn’t ask for this, which meant we got a parking space right next to the lodge. This was great as the parking is a short walk away otherwise. The staff were fab, didn’t come across 1 unhelpful or unhappy staff member and it seemed very well run, check in took a little longer but expected with the current issue. Wait times for the bigger rides were long considering a restricted guest number. But would still do this again and again!
Without a doubt Floatation is one of the most unique experiences you can ever try! The opportunity to completely switch off, we have several clients who say it feels like floating in space. Your body will thank you too, as it is very good for helping people with bad backs or any form of skeletal pain. It's also very good for muscle aches and pains - brilliant if you have just come back from hiking across Cannock chase.
Inclusions: Access to our state of the art floatation pods, we supply filtered water after your session, and tea/coffee is also available.
Exclusions:
Had a float and afternoon tea package - my second time floating and it won't be my last. Mark explains everything so clearly and goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience. There's nothing really I can compare it to, but it's 100% recommended, great for aches and pains and fantastic for your mental health.

Our flight was piloted by Chris. He was very informative and polite and took us over the Isle of White, the beach, Weymouth. The actual experience was AMAZING!! Everywhere we went he told us about it and the experience itself was amazing. I highly recommend this as it is definitely an experience you will never forget, one reason for that is that he handed me the controls and I FLEW THE PLANE! Everything was nice, chilled, very safe and easy. Overall, couldn't have been better ????
