This place was my home-away-from-home when I was in SPb. Situated in an old literary salon where it is said that Pushkin wrote his poem "Freedom" + the Arzamas Society held its regular literary meetings, the place still reeks of beauty + art and has a lovely view over the Fontanka River. Tsiferburg is a time-café, so you pay for your time spent there but everything in the room(s) is free for you to use. There is a variety of coffee (latte, cappuccino, espresso etc.), an endless supply of biscuits, breakfast in the mornings shortly after the time-café opens, numerous Instagram-worthy spots, and wifi access. Tsiferburg is part of the Golitsyn Loft meta-city, so one could easily spend an entire day at Tsiferburg + Golitsyn. Highly recommended.
Sculpture studio in the center of Saint-Petersburg (5 min. from Nevsky prospect). Classic sculpting lessons: copying plasters, anatomy study, working with life model. Teachers are professional sculptors graduated from the Academy of Arts in Saint-Petersburg.
