The sun almost always shines on St. Petersburg, the "Sunshine City" that enjoys an average of 361 days of clear skies per year. Combine that with 244 miles of glimmering coastline along Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, Boca Ciega Bay and the intra coastal waterways and you have one hot beach destination. Catch the sun, surf and sand at Ft. De Soto Park, or take a hike up the 37-mile Pinellas Trail. Enjoy a Devil Rays game during baseball season or escape to the shady oasis of the Sunken Gardens.

Make The St. Pete Store and Visitors Center your first stop in downtown St. Petersburg. We greet over 10,000 visitors through our door each year. We are attached to the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce. We provide maps, guides, brochures and expert advice. The St. Pete Store is a 250 sq ft showcase of locally made goods. We help visitors and residents discover our community artists, makers and shops. We carry St. Pete themed art; tote bags, soy candles, t-shirts, and other items with local images. We feature over 54 local artisans.
As a snowbird, I make frequent visits to the Visitor Center and always find everyone knowledgeable and helpful. Stop for: *MAPS* of walking tours, bike trails, parks, downtown art districts and beaches; *RESTAURANT* menus and recommendations; *MUSEUM* locations and details; *ATTRACTIONS* in the area; *EVENTS* of all kinds happening now. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Make sure to pick up the most awesome tourism publication on the planet: GULF TO BAY, which has info on every fabulous thing about St Pete - the beaches, restaurants, museums, murals and more!☀️

My wife loves this shop. She found a number of items that she wanted at good prices. We came back a second time so she could buy more, since she liked this shop more than some others along Central Avenue.
