The rocks stand so narrow and high in places that only a small strip of the sky remains visible.

During our Salzburg vacation we came across this gorge as a highly recommended place to visit and it's definitely worth your time. The way through the gorge is newly renovated and really nicely made, you get plenty of awesome views. The only minus is the amount of people. We came there early, shortly after opening. But when we reached the end and had to return the same way back, we had to pass a lot of people; of course many of them didn't wear masks though they are mandatory. I also didn't enjoy wearing them but try to stick to the rules. But either way, if you can, it's a great place to see.

You will find perfect prices and top values in all our offers! Our offices of the ski school as well as the shops with ski rental are located once just inside the building of the valley station of the cable car in the 1st floor as well as once opposite the parking house in Alpendorf.

What a week! First time skiing and what an experience, I did it! My instructor Frederick was professional and understanding and very encouraging when my confidence wavered. All groups were evenly matched in skill so everyone got the most out of it. Brilliant set up and all instructors were friendly and approachable. Thanks for helping me make memories!
