A reformed pirate built this little cottage in 1705, and now it's run by the Bermuda National Trust.
This is very worth the $2 donation to tour if you do not, or cannot, attend services. Its history is tied to the Unfinished Church up the hill.

A look into the history of a famous and influential colonial family: exhibits furniture, silver, and portraits belonging to the Tucker family.
A tour of a historical home is only as good as the guide. So in this case the tour was amazing. Our wonderful guide was knowledgeable, informative, engaging and proved us with one of the highlights of our Bermuda vacation. I am so grateful that she donates her time to this Bermuda treasure. Don't miss it.

Fort turned history museum, featuring an exhibit called "Highlights in Bermuda's History."
Ask if Patrick is around when you visit — super guy who loves to share the story of the fort, St. George’s & Bermuda ????????. We spent some time talking with him and could have talked with him all day — incredibly knowledgeable and a great ambassador for his island!!

This is the place where decisions are made: this government building also houses a fine collection of Bermuda cedar furniture.
You can smell the cedar when you walk in, and the fixtures are all in nice condition and the small art gallery has a fantastic exhibit of a local artist who was also the historian and town crier for many years Worth walking through

Poor planning, insufficient funds and natural disasters prevented the completion of this church, thus called the Unfinished Cathedral.
Situated within walking distance of the town square, this "unfinished church" has a special history as written in the following photos. Once there follow the signs to "the Beach" surprise awaits you.

Located in the center of St. George parish, this square contains stocks, a pillory and a whipping post, replicas of those used to punish criminals over 400 years ago.
we visited saint George from our cruise ship it was a nice ferry ride, the town is steeped in history and the people are so friendly I loved the buildings they were so colorful. we missed the dunking of the nagging wife but got to talk to the town crier which was fun. We stopped for lunch at the Whitehorse inn and it was so good the barman was a wealth of information after lunch we visited the town hall and we bumped into the ex Mayer who gave us a tour of the building. After all this we visited some of the local shops and the post office where the lady that served us could not have more helpful. would I go again? YES thank you all in saint George for welcoming us to your parish
