This is the ultimate snow holiday for the ultimate powder hound! Visiting 11 mountains over 12 days, you’ll sample New Zealand’s most popular ski fields before heading off the beaten track to lesser known club fields loved by locals and pros alike. Highlights include: Porters ski field – an off-piste heaven with one of the largest vertical drops in New Zealand; Craigieburn – a best-kept-secret amongst locals with wide open powder bowls and lofty narrow shoots; and ever-popular Queenstown – packed with more adrenaline-pumping activities than there are hours in the day to enjoy them. The Snow Odyssey is a combination of our Snow Safari and Snow Explorer tours and is best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers/snowboarders as you’ll be using nutcrackers and rope tows to climb a handful of the slopes. I booked a trip scheduled 2nd April, the company notified me that due Covid 19 pandemic the tour would be cancelled. I was offered options of a refund or get credits. I chose refund as I was not gonna get any other time which they concurred. After 2 weeks I was contacted by one rude Eva Lawrence who stayed that the business was not doing well due to the pandemic hence they would not refund back the money?! So is that how you treat your customers? Was it my fault that you cancelled the trip due to the pandemic??! I need a refund ASAP. [email protected] +61450753569
Escape the crowds of Queenstown and get a taste of New Zealand’s best club fields on this five-day snow tour of the South Island. The Snow Explorer really is off-piste heaven – leave the beaten track behind and sample four epic mountains considered by locals as NZ’s best-kept-secrets: Porters, Broken River, Mt Olympus/Temple Basin and Craigieburn. Whilst these names may not ring a bell now, we guarantee by the end of your trip they will be the only thing you’ll want to talk about. Starting and ending in Christchurch, this tour best suits intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders as you’ll be using nutcrackers and rope tows to climb the slopes at most locations. But don’t let this put you off – our expert guides are on hand to help, and most people adjust to using these tools after just a couple of runs.

Graham from Leisure Tours picked four of us up from our hotel for a half day wine tour, visiting four wineries with lunch included. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and pointed out places of interest as he drove us to the Waipara Valley. We were very comfortable in his people mover with plenty of room for us all. Lunch at Waipara Springs Winery was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The three other wineries had knowledgeable and friendly staff telling us all about their wines. We tasted several varieties and they were delicious. Graham had a good rapport with each winery and took us into each of the tasting rooms. We would certainly recommend this tour. We look forward to visiting Christchurch again and would contact Leisure Tours regarding the other tours they offer.
