Green Dog separates from other commercial dog kennels at Svalbard, since our dogs are a mix between the Greenland dog and husky – and also, since our family, consisting of 2 adults and 4 children – and our guides – are living at the kennel, year round. We put dog welfare above all, so it was a natural choice to live at the kennel, to be present with our 4 legged friends, at all times. We offer tours with our dogs year around - on dog sledges in winter and on carts or by foot, accompanied by a happy Green Dog, in summer. To give you the best experince, our sled tours are for maximum 8 guests and everybody gets the chance to steer the dog sled.
