Stone House Vineyard

Situated on a high bluff overlooking Lake Travis, we are a winery and vineyard specializing in wines from the Hill Country and South Australia.

We visited the Stone House Vineyard last weekend, and what a superior find this was. Ed served us, and gave detailed information on each wine we tried. His enthusiasm and attitude made our afternoon. The winery setting is very picturesque, and offers many options for its guests. They provide a wide variety of tasting options, we especially enjoyed their “Cuddles” sparkling wine. Looking forward to our next visit.

Iron Wolf Ranch and Distillery

Great location, vibe and excellent selection of delicious finely crafted spirits to choose from. This is our 2nd visit in less than 4 months (and we are from Arizona)????. The first visit we did the tasting, where each crafted spirit is wonderfully and thoroughly explained. (The tastings are held every hour on the hour in a group setting.) My hubby and I left with 5 different bottles of delicious spirits!! Husband and wife team are so friendly, and take time to answer questions with authenticity and charm. The 15 acre farm sits high overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. The tasting room and gorgeous vats in the distillery, offer a memorable and beautiful ambiance, coupled with the great patios with plenty of seating options. This is a dog-friendly venue that also offers disc “golf”. There are fire pits for enjoyable evening outings with friends (new and old☺️) 2nd visit: Upon our return to visit dear friends who live in Horseshoe Bay, they asked “where do y’all want to go today?” Our response, “Iron Wolf!!” Today our visit was just as wonderful. A slightly overcast Saturday, we enjoyed a couple hours of delicious drinks, and live music by a musician named, Joe James. Great style singing and playing guitar. The place was pretty much packed but the bartenders kept up with the crowd and both husband/wife team (Glenda and Jordan Watters) were at each table with their typical authentic cheer welcoming and asking how everyone is doing. There is a food truck onsite offering hand tossed pizza and other things.....smelled aaaaamazing and plenty of patrons were savoring the goods. HIGHLY recommend this for a day visit whether you are from the Austin/surrounding areas or just passing thru. We love it!! Very well done and we are already looking forward to our 3rd visit sometime in the future.
