A Hammam, also known as Arab Bath or Turkish Bath, is a steam bath mode that includes cleansing the body and relaxing. One of the most pleasant Arab traditions is being imposed in our country. The hammam or public Arab bath did not only cover functions of rest and hygiene, but it was also a place of social gathering. Currently they are highly recommended for their amount of benefits that bring to our body, both physical and psychological. We booked this fairly last minute after our friends said they were visiting some Arabic baths - after looking at reviews for that one we found this instead which seems like a real hidden gem; great value and less busy. We phoned to book the Granada ritual and totally recommend it. The staff are friendly and professional, the baths themselves are beautiful and peaceful (by luck we had them to ourselves) and the scrub, massage and clay rub were so relaxing. The tea and sweets were a great touch. Even if you don’t have a private room ritual it would be a lovely visit but the ritual was perfect especially after a few days of skiing! Overall a wonderful experience - absolutely recommend.

As in its origin, the Arab baths are made up three spaces created by water pools at different temperatures and which give their name to the hot, warm and cold rooms. Each client is free to choose their own route through these spaces while respecting our team´s guidelines for use in order to enjoy an optimun experience of tradition. The route, which is accompained by Andalusian music, is completed with the steam room, the relaxation room - where clients can enjoy a typical tea - and the hot stone room, in which they can receive a massage or Ritual of their choice. Our clients feel transported in time and allow themselves to be guided on a journey through the exotic sensuallity of the mythical Al Andalus. Upon leaving, the Alhambra greets them only a few metres away with a vision that rounds off their experience of the past.
Came out of here feeling totally relaxed and chilled, a wonderful experience. My massage was great, the lady masseuse asking me how firm she should be; my hamstrings were tired beforehand as Granada is hilly, and much better afterwards. The pools are tranquil, the water lovely, and overall a great experience. The changing rooms aren't huge, but this wasn't an issue for me. Expensive but worth every penny, just delightful. Staff were helpful and kept us informed, the time goes too quickly.

Just a few steps away from the cathedral, in an alley named Aire in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz, you will find AIRE Sevilla, at a magnificent Mudéjar-style palace that embraces more than 5 centuries of history. As soon as you step in, at its classic Andaluz-style courtyard, you will start a journey through sensations that will take you by candlelight across the various bath rooms with water at different temperature ranges, di
Really incredible bathhouse, with everything you want for a relaxing afternoon. I loved the rooftop hot tub with stone loungers built in, and the subterranean salt baths were incredible. Only thing, my massage was very “meh”. My legs and feet were crushed from walking for days on the cobbles, and the woman who did the massage sort of moved oil around on my skin, despite entreaties for “mas fuerte,”. Great spot, would go again in a heartbeat, but skip the massage.

Located in the city’s historic centre, the Hammam Al Ándalus is a recently renovated monumental space that captures the essence of the old Arab baths of Al Ándalus. Its cold, warm and hot water thermal baths form part of the ritual of purification and together with steam, rest and massage rooms, make up an architectural ensemble characterized by beautiful Moorish decoration which induces relaxation of the mind and body.
I visited in November 2018 with my girlfriend and we both had a great experience. We paid for the €45 service which was a 15 minute massage and 75 minutes in the baths. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly, doing everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our session. Only things we can think of to improve: let us choose when to have our massage so that we can plan our experience around it, for example, we arrived at 10:00 and were not sure when the massage would be, as they were calling people randomly, so we didn't know how long to spend in each bath. But this is only a very minor thing. Muchos gracias! We'll be back ????????
