Föri is 100 years old transportation method which people use actively every day to go across the river. It' takes few minutes to travel, and saves you atleast 30 mins walking to the bride to get over. Somebody tried to close it down and stop it working few years ago but people rose their voices to complain against that and it is still running from early morning till 11 pm at summer time. It is replaced by a walking bridge if the river frozes totally, and with another boat if föri itself needs fixing. Otherwise it is there for you free use! no tickets - although the pubs and bars close by do try to sell tickets to tourists!
