Whoever plan to explore Rwanda i definetely recommend the Akagera and Nyungwe if you budget is not too big to trek for gorillas. We did with Home Rwanda Safaris, starting from Kigali to Akagera then Akagera to Nyungwe and back. What a beautiful trip!! The game drive of Akagera took us in a real wildthought i mean, seeing the Elephant right at the park gate then few meters ahead getting stuck in a middle of buffalos was the welcoming message from the big five. We've seen a lot of animals and the driver was a good one at spotting them far in the bushes. Our night was at Game lodge which is super classic, the food and service we appreciated. Later we went to Nyungwe and pass on the canopy bridge one of my favorite experience the next day we tracked the chimpanzees at Rusizi side of Nyungwe. I recommend Home Rwanda Safaris because they had our word since day 1 to the end of the trip and exceptionally they brought me 2 bags of maraba coffee and i was like wow this guys are super super kind and professional. Reserve your trip with them

Nyungwe National Park lies in southwest Rwanda, partly abutting the Burundi border. It's a vast area of mountain rainforest, home to many species of chimpanzees, plus owl-faced and colobus monkeys. The Canopy Walkway, part of the Igishigishigi Trail, is a high suspension bridge with views over the valley and surrounding forests. A trail runs to the Kamiranzovu Marsh, with its bird-life, orchids and waterfall. This is a well designed Tour for every person and it is affordable.

This was a fantastic tour, a real highlight of my trip to Rwanda. It’s an action-packed day with stunning views of the north-western part of the country. Lake Kivu is a real sight to witness, especially with the DRC so close. Peter is a great tour guide and I had a really enjoyable discussion with him throughout the day. Highly recommended!

I had a great day with Djabil on this tour to Nyungwe National Park. He makes sure all aspects of the trip are prepared for in advance and I had a thoughtful discussion with him throughout the day. Nyungwe park is amazing in its varied wildlife and plant life and the canopy provides an incredible view of the forest below. I’d highly recommend this tour!

My wife and I have used several Travel Agents to arrange tours during our last 8 years of annual trips and this was the best experience of all. G-STEP TOURS prompt responses to our queries and in resolving issues, giving perfect and up to date information on the package is definitely commendable. Comparatively, their prices too are reasonable. I would recommend their services without hesitation because I found their service to be excellent. The guide was nice and giving bottled water every time during our driving hours. Their 4WD Jeep style car was very comfortable and we didn't feel tired as had expected. Well done.

Traditionally shared during weddings and other celebrations, banana juice and beer has long been a central part of Rwandan parties. Although nowadays banana juice can be easily bought from the local store, the traditional technique for making your own brew is a much greater labour of love. Experience the whole process from tree to bottle.
