George is very knowledgeable and has obviously been to the places on this Transylvania trip. Customized our locations to maximize sights and touring for the time we had and where we wanted to see. Definitely a perfect trip that could have only used a couple tweaks. Watch windy roads if anyone gets car sick, let the driver know if there is anything specific your interested in and take lots of pictures, it will be a trip of a lifetime. Also, expect the guide to sometimes be rushed, we didn't expect to be kind of dropped off quite as much in some locations but we adapted to the area. Some of the best sights you will see and George is a very insightful and knowledgeable guide.

Situated at the crossroads of several commercial routes, Constanta lies on the western coast of the Black Sea, 185 miles from the Bosphorus Strait. An ancient metropolis and Romania's largest sea port, Constanta traces its history some 2,500 years. Fine mansions and hotels were built in the 19th century when King Carol I decided to revive Constanta as a port and seaside resort. The third largest city in Romania, Constanta is now an important cultural and economic centre, worth exploring for its archaeological treasures and the atmosphere of the old town centre. Its historical monuments, ancient ruins, grand Casino, museums and shops, and proximity to beach resorts make it the focal point of Black Sea coast tourism.

Gabriel was our guide and drove us on the day seeing both Bran and Peles castles. He was on time collecting us from our hotel and drove us safely to the castles. On the way we stopped off at a lovely restaurant that he recommended for lunch. He was a great guide, there with us all the time to answer any questions we had and take photos of our group. Even though we were over our time schedule with Gabriel, he even took us to the town where the Black Church was, so that we could see it. We had a great day, thank you Gabriel.

The ride to get the the castle was kind of long but with the wifi I kept myself entertained. The castle was amazing and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and explain everything very well. I had an exceptional day learning about Romanian history. I would recommend this tour to anyone if they are spending a couple of days in Romania.

The tour explores unique places for Romania. All our three stops offer an interesting perspective on the geology of the Buzau area, by showing the miracles of nature or how people were able to transform the nature in their benefit. The Muddy Volcanoes appeared from the mud brought up to the surface from the deep faults by natural gases that cut one of the most important oil and gas fields of the area. They are split in Paclele Mari and Paclele Mici, the most spectacular being Paclele Mici, but they are also very difficult to access due to the road. But we use a 4x4 car, so you will be able to visit that part with us. The Amber Museum is not included in any touristic package for foreigners, so this is an unique chance to see rare amber which is found in our country only in Colti. Also, the trip to the rupestrian churches of Alunis is very difficult, that is why most of the tour companies are not able to reach it, but not us, so you will be able to see a church carved in stone from 1200
Inclusions: Private transportation, Parking Fees, English speaking guide, Entrance ticket at the Muddy Volcanoes
Exclusions: Gratuities, Lunch, Entrance ticket at the Amber Museum
Our main purpose for the trip was getting to know Romanian history better and this was exactly what we got! Our guide was knowledgeable and did everything to make sure that we were having a good time. A couple of days spent hiking and admiring picturesque natural sceneries. Everything that had been promised, they delivered, I highly recommend them!

In this private day trip you will discover the largest salt mine in Europa, which is Slanic Prahova. Inside you will find the biggest planetarium in Romania, with a dome with a diameter at 16 meters and laser projection system (4k) of 24.000 lumens. After this we will visit the Berca Muddy Volcanoes wich is a geological and botanical reservation located in Buzău County. The most spectacular feature is small volcano-shaped structures typically a few metres high caused by the eruption of mud and natural gases.

I booked this within 2 hours of the start of the tour on my last day in Belgrade and it was absolutely worth it. My guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough. He even took me to the airport at the end so that I could catch my flight. You know it was a good tour when you feel like you’re leaving the city too soon.

Ambrozie`s Cell, situated on Istrita Hill, Buzau county, is formed by two rooms in which a few bays and porches were carved, either with domestic or religious destination. Ambrozie was a monk from Breaza commune who, as a layman, was named Tanase Rizea. He spent a few years at Athos Mountain, Greece, and when he came back home he decided to isolate himself in a cell that he himself carved in the Stone of the Hawk. He lived 50 years in the cell that today has his name.Going on the trail to the peak of Istrita Hill, we reach a glade with a small forest and white cross on which it is written “The monastery of Ambrozie the Hermit”. Here we have the best sight of the southern wall of the Soimilor Hill and, to the right, the rupestral dwelling called “Ambrozie Skete” which was declared a world heritage site. Here, the monk Ambrozie lived in solitude until 1980 when he passed away.

In Constanta, dig into the area’s ancient history at an archaeology museum, learn about Romanian folk art traditions, and step inside the country’s largest mosque. We had a great time with our tour guide, Paul!! My boyfriend and I were vaccinated and decided to spend 4 days in Bucharest. We took this tour on a Sunday and due to the Covid season all the locations we visited were pretty clear. I was very appreciative that we didn't have to fight with crowds or long lines to enter the castles. This tour takes you to all the main castles/places in 12 hours. I chose this tour over the other ones offered on Tripadvisor since it gave us a good amount of time at each spot. I liked that we didn't feel rushed & got to really soak everything in. Yes, it seems long but I swear it goes by quick. Expect to walk a lot & definitely pack some easy to eat snacks. Also, don't forget like I did --- PACK COFFEE! The tour starts early and if you're not a morning person, coffee is a must. No more hesitating and just book it. Great price for a quality tour.

3 week Holiday in small town near Cluj - called Campia Turzi. Then toured within 100 mile radius. Fantastic - beautiful scenery, mountains, rivers, lakes - never saw a caravan ! Walking and horse riding is superb. The food was first class and 100% organic as is the whole Country. It was hot - very hot close to 40 deg. The attractions are too many to list here right now but we went clay shooting, mountain walking, river walking wow its a rugged Country. The people were very friendly and it was very safe to walk around even at night. So many police deters the bad folk. Went to a mountain church where the head priest has his own "Tweeka" (apple brandy) brewery. More than 80% proof rocket fuel. He gave us a full lunch and a couple bottle this brew - no charge. The bars and cafe's are joy to sit outside and have a very cheap beer or three. Fantastic cake shops and you must try the cake called "Papanasi" - if this is not the best cake you have ever seen or eaten. Made with blackberries and cottage cheese - just sublime. I spent another 10 days in a hotel with my 35 year old son - the Sun Garden near Turda in Cluj. We had breakfast, lunch and evening meals then guests for drinks every night. Cam to settle the bill on leaving - just COULD NOT BELIEVE It - came to less than £1000 when I was expecting £3000 ! Finally for now this is a land of truly Beautiful people and super super fit. Is there any fat people in Romania? I do not think so. The women have to be seen to be believed.

During this journey you will get to visit the Naval Museum from Constanta and admire the beautiful view of the Black Sea by taking a walk along the impressive pier. After that we continue our tour heading towards Bulgaria’s town Balchik situated on the seashore. The greatest landmark of Balchik – the Palace – has remained from the period of the Romanian occupation.
