We attended the 9:30am family Mass on Memorial Day weekend and were very impressed with the beautiful Church, the full attendance, the welcoming priest, outstanding choir and the convenient location in the center of Hampton Bays. The Church complex also has a Parish Center and Community Center. We hope to return to this beautiful Catholic parish again.

If you want to go apple picking or pumpkin picking, this is a great place to do both without getting in your car to go to one or the other, you can do both if you like. Activities for all ages. Big enough place that the kids can run around and partake in what there is to offer. They even have a maze for children under the age of 3. It caters to all. They sell food, lines can be long, just make sure you are on the right line for what you want. They could have a few more shaded places to sit and rest especially when traveling with the elder or small children. If you enjoy the country side and don't mind making a day trip out to eastern long island then its a nice day trip. Roasted corn, freshly popped pop corn, pretzels, ice cream, candy apples, pies, etc. I've been to other farm stands that are great on the east end, it all depends of what you are looking for but this was spot on when traveling with kids. Downside, they blocked many of the aisles for the apple picking so I didn't feel I got my money's worth in that respect with a variety of apples but it was late in the season too.

We saw an episode of the east end with Doug Geed showcasing 7 Ponds Orchard in watermill. We took the kids and grandkids out there, only 1 1/2 hrs from oceanside. It was better than it looked on tv. Plenty of different apples to pick, tons of veggies and pumpkins to pick from, delicious baked goods and slides and rides for the kids. You have to take the kids thru the cornfield maze! Friendly, helpful staff keeps lines moving. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks to Doug Geed and 7 ponds orchard!
