Moana Pool

Of all the heated pool offerings in NZ, this one is the best. By far. Especially good on a cold Winter day when you can see the weather outside & not give a fig. Fantastic gym - worth the visit alone and great if you are a visitor to the city and are looking to train casually.

Alpine Aqualand

Reviewed By 819mj - Dunedin, New Zealand

We had to find some indoor activities for our 3.5 year old daughter on a wet Queenstown day - and the Alpine Aqualand pool in Frankton turned out to be just the tonic! A nice range of pools - we spent our time in the main leisure pool (min 0.9 metres depth), and the neat 'lazy river' which our daughter loved floating around in the gentle current. Our baby son also got in the water for the first time ever in the shallow toddler pool. The family change room facilities were greatly appreciated. Excellent value in a town which is often quick to drain the wallet!

Buller Gorge Swingbridge Ltd

Walk NZ’s longest swingbridge before taking part in a range of activities from high speed flying-fox rides and jet boating to more leisurely strolls along the Faultline loop walk to view some of the site’s fascinating geological and historical features. The loop walk, for instance, encompasses the famous White’s Creek Faultine, - epicentre of the 1929 Murchison earthquake, where the ground rose 4.5m (15ft), historical goldworkings and the chance to look for gold on the river banks. The flying fox is suitable for all ages whilst the jetboating is one of the best runs in NZ.

I love my swing bridges! Being the longest one in nz and being such a skinny, fun and exciting one it’s well worth the $10. Then the flying fox back was well priced and more exciting than I though it would be. The gorge it’s self is beautiful!
