The Zone Bar

Whether you want somewhere to meet up for a coffee or something stronger during the day, while away a few hours while browsing on our free WiFi, or somewhere to start your evening off or party the night away, you're assured of a warm welcome from the friendly team at The Zone. In addition to the premium brands, you can also try a range of craft lagers and ciders, artisan spirits or, for something more exotic, one of The Zone's signature cocktails - created just for you by the resident mixologist. Recently refurbished, and located at the top of the strip on St James's Street, the contemporary venue is perfectly placed and open from 10am until late every night of the week, with live music and entertainment at the weekend. The Zone features a VIP area for up to 15 people and the venue is available for groups, celebrations and exclusive private hire with a capacity of around 70 people. Well behaved Stag and Hen parties and groups are welcome - perhaps give the venue a call so they can expect you.

Popped in for a quick drink during our stay in Brighton where we were greeted by Rupert - by far the loveliest and friendliest barman we have ever encountered. Reasonably priced drinks, warm atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit to this lovely bar.

Pink Punters

Reviewed By Jamesrguk

really Good club, panic buttons around the venue, security are very active and in numbers, spills are quickly cleaned up, good range of dj’s and a good amount of money spent on the audio & lighting rigs they have in each room! Nothing worse than going to a club with lighting that someone’s not changing to the beat. Only problem with pinks I would say is especially on Saturday nights the bars are rammed and is 10 - 30 mins to get a drink sometimes! Sometimes they are understaffed like at the house bar with only 2/3 bartenders but however extremely good club! Very friendly staff.

Always a must visit when in Brighton. Fantastic staff, great terrace overlooking the beach. If you are looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast here is the place. The roasts are amazing and won’t leave you going hungry. They normally have live drag shows but because of COVID there weren’t any when we went.

The Edge & The Box Bar

The Edge is Southampton's largest and most popular gay nightclub and we have been serving the gay community & their friends for over 20 years! The Box Bar, in the west wing, was totally transformed in 2015 and now serves fabulous cocktails & hot sharing platters from 4pm every day, & gives you free entry into the club! We aim to provide a fun, informal, safe and entertaining venue for everyone to enjoy!

This is the best LGBT venue I have been to in my life and I have been to many across multiple cities including London, Madrid, Bristol, Plymouth, Exeter and more! The cocktails are amazing. The staff are very friendly and made me feel very welcome over the Southampton Pride weekend. The music was great and I loved having different rooms with different musical themes, this is something I haven’t seen much in gay bars before (but often in non-gay bars). I would definitely visit this bar again when I am in the area!
