The Abbey Cinema offers a state-of-the-art cinema experience on a huge nine metre projection screen, high-spec acoustic wall coverings and advanced Dolby 7.1 surround sound to enjoy all new releases in style. Alongside this brilliant technical set-up the cinema is hosted by a staff team of the most friendly and bubbly people who will make your cinema experience feel even more personal whoever you are. A Makerspace is a not-for-profit community of people who share tools, knowledge and experience to make things such as craft items, sculptures, works of art, a robot, or a piece of code. Makerspace tools range from lathes, laser cutters, and 3D printers, to more traditional wood and metal-working tools. By meeting together in a friendly collaborative atmosphere we can learn new skills, practice old ones, and benefit from each others’ experience. We can also pool our resources to get tools that we couldn’t individually afford or justify, or have the room in our homes to keep.

Singleton Environment Centre is a truly sustainable, venue situated in a tranquil setting adjoining Ashford Community Woodland (local nature reserve status) with stunning views and abundant wildlife, located only 3 miles from Ashford town centre. The Centre provides environmental conservation educational resources for families, exciting activities and talks, a cafe and free parking.

Just a minute’s walk from Wantage’s town centre, The Beacon is a vibrant gathering place for the local community, offering a varied programme of live events from cinema, music, theatre and comedy, to a regular timetable of classes & our Coffee Shop open daily. We also offer rooms to hire for celebrations and business meetings, including our 350-seat auditorium, two studios & other function rooms.
