Inlet Point Plantation Stables

This was the highlight of my trip to Myrtle Beach area. All of the employees are welcoming and took time to make everyone was paired up with the right horse due to riding experience. We were a group of three who had almost no experience at all, and our horses were wonderful. We did the 2 hour combo beach and plantation ride. We loved both! The beach was ours alone during our hour and the weather was perfect. Stephanie was our guide and did a great job education us on Waties Island. The plantation ride had its own unique experience when we had to slow down and let the alligators get off the trial so we could pass by. I loved learning about the area and the wildlife that is lack to call it home. A must do if you are in the area!

My daughter and I had a most enjoyable trail ride led by Rebecca. She had two other novices on the ride. She was so good with us and the horses that everyone's jitters were calmed. She explained each of the horses' personality and what to expect and how to handle each of them. There was just one horse that liked to be a little uncooperative and my daughter rode him. It went fine and added a little more excitement to the ride. We saw quite a few alligators sunning themselves at the edge of the pond. Rebecca shared a lot of history of the plantation, information on the current use of the equestrian center, and about the wildlife seen. Everything is well taken care of for novice riders.

5 stars is just not enough to rate for Rebel Ranch Horse Tours. Today, Jessica was our guide. She was very outgoing, friendly, knowledgeable and just an absolute pleasure to be around and talk with. We enjoyed her company just as much as the horse ride. I surprised my wife with a two hour tour with them for a Christmas gift. We both enjoyed it immensely and we will be back! Very relaxing, and peaceful, it was an absolute joy to just get out and breathe some fresh air in some great company. We started this outing as complete strangers and left as friends. I hope your business continues to strive. The world could use a few more people like you! Stay safe and many blessings to you and your family! Thanks again for everything!

Anne Springs Close Greenway

Nestled amid beautiful lakes and hardwood forests, the Anne Springs Close Greenway is a natural preserve more than twice the size of Central Park, minutes south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC. Its 2,100 acres serve as a natural buffer from urban development and provide a wide open space for countless activities – from hiking, biking and horseback riding to picnics, kayaking and more. The land has ties to the Catawba Indians and the Civil War and has been permanently preserved for public use. The Greenway contains native plants and animals, historic buildings, a 36-mile network of trails, and facilities for weddings and other special events. As a non-profit organization, it depends on memberships, program fees, as well as private donations to support annual operations. Main entrances include Lake Haigler, Dairy Barn, Adventure Road and the Complex, all of which provide additional information and trail maps.

My family and I went to Lawton Stables for the small animal farm/petting zoo. It is free and super fun! They have all different kinds of animals, including alpacas, goats, and even a potbelly pig! It’s great for all ages (I am 20 and my sister is 17 and we loved it). The animals are well taken care of and the grounds are beautiful. While it is a small farm, it was worth the trip as my whole family enjoyed it!
