Our new Unique Vineyard Accomodation, Bed in a Shed, is very popular and has had high occupancy since its opening in February 2016 Fully insulated, heating, cooling, Internet and great views over our vineyard are proving to be very popular as well
Had a 3 night stay in Bed in a Shed BnB. Fantastic place, great hosts Andrew and Carolyn makes you feel at home and nothing was too much trouble for them. Full breakfast provisions were excellent and great coffee pods and teas. Breakfast had lots of variety and didn’t want for anything. Microwave, toaster, coffee pod machine included. Only other item would have like would have been a electrical frypan and saucepan to boil water or pasta if cooking in as outside bbq one night didn’t work too well because of the cold and windy conditions, but if not into making your own dinner there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Bed was comfortable and great outdoor verandah over looking the vineyards. Loved the interaction with the hosts animals, goat, sheep, dog. Good outdoor bbq area, great shower and loved all the decorations within. Andrew has doesn’t a fantastic job in constructing the place with all the recycled materials. Location close to numerous wineries and attractions in the area. Riesling Trail about a km from the accommodation and great track to ride a push bike along. Right next door is Bed in a Shed Too, which may not suit all having adjoining neighbours so close but didn’t both us. Overall would definitely recommend a stay at this property.

Serene showcase of local and Island inspired artworks, lovingly curated in a renovated heritage building in the heart of the Island's main township, Kingscote. Views to panoramic Nepean Bay compliment award winning artworks, working jewellery studio and quirky Wabi-Sabi arts courtyard. Resident Fred Peters creates custom jewellery while you visit. Other featured artists featured include Neil Sheppard (Shep), ShepJanet Ayliffe, Jenny Clapson, Fred Peters, Nicholas Burness Pike, Dave Clark and many, many more.
We have regularly visited Kangaroo Island over the past 8 years and each time we call in at Fine Art Kangaroo Island. Fred, the owner, always gives a warm welcome and has a great variety of jewellery, sculptures and paintings, virtually all of which are produced on KI. If you visit Kingscote then I’d recommend calling in to view the latest pieces and have a chat with Fred.

We have been to Cedars before but we didn’t Have enough to see the studio we had a freind come over from Sydney so thought this was a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. This place is amazing to see where Hans Heysen painted his pictures and the trees are mostly all still standing is just amazing and to have a fabulous artist so close to our city is also amazing. I’m so glad it is all been presented so well as he would have left it as well. Would highly recommended doing all the walk then the gallery.

This has a great display of bowls, mugs, and everyday items from local artists. Many very beautiful handcrafted items. Priced quite reasonably (you could pay as much for a high-end factory version). Great place to buy local gifts for visiting friends overseas,
