Sturgeon’s mill is a 106 year old steam powered sawmill. We are a working museum that is open 4 weekends a year to the general public. On these weekends historians, gear heads, steam heads and students of California history come to “Step back into History” at our museum.

This museum is a must see. They always have something that i do not know about and after i leave i am full of information. The black history month is a must see , every Feb.

The CIMCC features two exhibits and a gift shop. The first exhibit tells the story of Ishi. The second exhibit features cradle baskets. "Hidden behind the cultural and social surface of California is a story of natural abundance, human conflct, pain and suffering, and rebirth; it is the story of the California Indidans." Hours: Wednesday- Friday 10AM-5PM Saturday- Sunday 9AM-5PM
