What a magical hidden gem with such great history. Just a small walk around the ruins and it is well worth it to see the ruins. We went there twice and near the far end at the cottage ruins we could not see a falls flowing the first time but when we went back after heavy rain it was like a different place! A must do and you can walk here from the town of Adelong, it takes about 2 km one way. “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

This touching memorial to the local area fallen is just off the main street and is well worth a visit when going through the town. There is a very nicely presented bronze sculpture depicting a WW1 battlefield.

A cute little town on the Snowy River, with platypus right there in town! We really enjoyed the river walk, and the historic bridge and buildings dotted around town. A lovely spot to stop when in the area.

While driving through Cooma discovered this great lookout called Nanny Goat Hill! Awesome views of the township of Cooma! Was a easy drive up to the lookout well worth it! Kids enjoyed climbing up the stairs to the lookout! Also had a sculpture of a full size goat sculptured by a local artist named Chris Graham!
