I’ve played Lahontan, Martis Camp and Schaffer’s Mill all in the last year. Schaffer’s Mill edges the other two slightly as far as the golf course goes. Where it pulls away is the awesome staff. They are super friendly and accommodating. Great play and a great time.

Beautiful golf course and some challenging hole the fairways and greens are well kept plenty of matured threes for shade , take your phone with you for some photos opp on hole 15th Not to mention the friendly staffs and service! Worth every strokes!

This is a really great course with one of my top 3 favorite holes I play. It's a par 3 that follows a really amazing par 5. when you get up to the tee box, the green is some 500-600 yards away. What? Yup, and it's over trees and a stream, whaaaaat? Straight downhill. There's a sign in the tee box and sometimes a marshal that says something like, use your 140-yard club. So with a nine in hand, I hit it straight out and drops like a dart onto the green. If you're not straight, you're dead and there's a drop zone down the hill, but it is so incredibly fun. PS: There's no driving range at the course, but there is one right down the road about a mile away.

Known as one of Reno's Hot Spots, the Sierra Bay Aqua Driving Range is fun for all ages. We are one of Reno's "Must See" attractions. Patrons hit golf balls onto one of 8 themed floating island target greens. Prizes are awarded for guests who can place the ball in the target cups or barrels. We're open late every day of the year. Rental clubs, soda & beer, and snacks are available. Market umbrellas and patio furniture provide a relaxing atmosphere for players and spectators. This is not your father's driving range. We'll put a little splash in your game!
