Explore the picturesque Croatian countryside on two wheels with this scenic, 6-hour cycling tour. After setting off from Split, you'll begin your tour along the Cetina River. Look forward to seeing everything from Roman-era roads and the ruins of a medieval fort to a 600-year-old mill and the famously beautiful landscape of the Dalmatian Hinterland. Traveling with a small group, you’ll cover around 25 miles (40 km) of distance, with a stop for a picnic lunch along the way.

Join us for an enjoyable kayak ride down the river Cetina, one of the longest rivers in Croatia. It is crystal clear and fast but still water that will satisfy all your relaxation needs and wishes. During the ride, which lasts between two to three hours, we will encounter hidden villages and the richness of flora and fauna of Dalmatian countryside. You will have the opportunity to take photographs of all the interesting things you come across during your adventure. That way, you will be able to revisit the beauty of this region once you return home. Previous experience with kayaking is not necessary for you to take part in our kayak safari. Prior to the ride, we will make all the necessary arrangements regarding the route length or any other preferences you might have.

In the Town of Vrlika where peace and quiet are interrupted only by a few locals and where the mighty Dinara peaks are delineated you will meet natural monuments of marvelous beauty and the most secluded Croatian natural attractions. We will take you through hidden parts od Dalmatia where only few have been. Here at the foot of the Dinara mountain, Cetina river begins a 105km-long journey to the sea. It lies across the land, then in smooth seductive curves runs into the lake Peruća where all the springs merge. With our local guides you will feel what is Dalmatia all about.

The Dalmatian continental region has many beautiful and pristine landscapes, perfect for a truly unique experience such as a cycling tour through some of the most fascinating places. This tour combines visits to five significant locales – the sources of rivers Grab and Ruda, excursion site Ovrlja, excursion site Mustang and the old continental town of Sinj. Rivers Grab and Ruda are known for the clarity of their water, dense vegetation, endemic and rare species and old watermills, making them attractive environments for visitors. Far away from city crowds, in an oasis of peace and quiet, lies the family excursion site Mustang. It includes 20,000 square meters of green area with horse riding grounds, a trim track, sports playgrounds and a restaurant serving homemade Dalmatian food and wine. After lunch, the trip continues towards the city of Sinj, where you can visit the city museum or have a coffee in the historical core of Sinj

Exclusions:

Visoka (892 m) is a mountain rising above Sinj. On top of Visoka, we can find a ten meters high concrete cross. A site is a place of pilgrimage for many residents of the whole Cetina region. We'll enjoy beautiful views of Sinj, the Sinjsko polje valley, the surrounding mountains (Kamešnica, Dinara, Svilaja, Biokovo, Mosor) and further away the Adriatic Sea and islands. From the top, we continue towards the Sutina canyon. The geomorphological structure of the Sutina canyon is made of limestone and dolomite, whereas an abundance of fossils is disclosed to visitors due to the effects of erosion. In accordance with the Nature Protection Act, the significant landscape of Sutina is under the direction of the Split-Dalmatia County Public Institution for the Protected Natural Values Management. Throughout this part, we will enjoy the shades of pine tree forest and reach the town of Sinj where we finish our adventure.

The adventure starts by picking you up at your accommodation. First you will enjoy short jeep ride to the Equestrian club.Riding will be organized near the Cetina river accompanied by certified riding instructors. Following thing to see will be town of Sinj and majestic Kamičak fort which is known as one of the most scenic and memorable symbols of Sinj, located in the very town centre. There will be some free time to drink a coffee in one of the many local Coffe shops on Sinj promenade. After relaxing there you will feel already like a local. Now it's time to eat a delicious traditional meal at the local tavern not far away from Sinj. Once you recharge your batteries Jeep exploring can start. You will have the opportunity to see Cetina river canyon, Dinara mountain, beautiful Dabar bay and Peruća lake - the 3rd largest lake in Croatia. While Jeep exploring there will be stops so you can enjoy in the moment, make some photo memories or swim in the Peruća lake.

First stop is Sinj, where you will discover Alka, an annual knightly tournament celebrating the strength and courage of brave men and women who defended their city from Ottoman onslaught in the 18th century. Next up you will visit Klis. Overlooking Split, Klis fortress gives you an incredible view of the entire area, Adriatic Sea and surrounding islands. Once the seat of medieval Croatian kings, lately it has become famous for dragons, being one of the filming locations of the Game of Thrones series. After you are satisfied with the pictures you have taken, we can visit the nearby family estate to try some traditional Dalmatian delicacies and see how they're made or if you feel like it, have a hearty roast lamb lunch in a favorite local restaurant.
