Enjoy treatment befitting royalty when you book seats for a GV Gold Class Experience. Developed by the Golden Village (GV) cinema group in Singapore, movie-goers can luxuriate in a private lounge and plush electronic recliner seats that are comparable to First Class airline seats.
The seats are large and comfy, With lesser people in the Cinema, it really gives you a first class feeling. There are also a wider selection of food and drinks even alcohol, staff will serve you the food in the cinema. The seats comes with small table, pillow and also blanket. Very good experience even though it is more expensive.

If you're looking for an interesting movie, you should visit the Projector at Golden Mile Tower. It screens a good mix of both international & local movies. You get to watch a movie without any disturbance from the well mannered patrons. The restaurant offers lovely cakes & they also have live music on weekends. The toilets are artistically designed.

SHAW THEATRES LIDO IMAX is an enhanced movie going experience perfect for you and the whole family.
We visited twice on our last trip to Singapore. Ended up watching Captain America and cold pursuit. Super movies watched at a really comfortable cinema. The only issue is foodwise they only have McDonalds and another counter. We managed to get a bottle of wine and glasses once. But the next time that counter was closed. Otherwise I have only good memories and good things to say about this cinema

With its home at The Cathay, one of the first theatres in Singapore, The Picturehouse exclusively features first runs of the latest films and international festival winners, and is definitely a must for discerning art-house moviegoers.
Sinema is regarded as one of the best places to watch local indie films not commercially released in Singapore, like those from new or lesser-known filmmakers.
